Howard Azer, CPA

Howard Azer has been affiliated with the firm since 1983, and became its owner in 1987. He brings to the practice more than 40 years’ experience in accounting.

Mr. Azer has a BA in Accounting from Colorado State University. He is an active member of the tax practice division of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and is a past trustee of the Mercer County Chapter of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served as treasurer for many local civic and charitable organizations.

Ann C. Zultner, CPA

Ann Zultner has been with the firm since 1986. She was awarded a M.S. degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University in 1985 and previously worked in the tax department of Touche Ross in Newark, NJ.

Ms. Zultner holds an additional Master’s degree in Management (specializing in Accounting and Finance) from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Taxation at Northwestern University, and is the National Director of Tax Matters for the Gamma Phi Beta Society.

Ronald Testa, EA (Enrolled Agent)

Ronald Testa has over twenty years experience in corporate financial management. He held controller and treasury positions in the private sector before joining Howard Azer and Associates in 1987. Mr. Testa earned his M.B.A. in Accounting and Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1989 and also holds two B.A. degrees in Finance and Accounting.

In addition, Mr. Testa holds the federally-approved Enrolled Agent license, which enables him to represent clients in meetings and correspondence with the Internal Revenue Service.

Francesca Zappola, CPA

Francesca Zappola joined us in 2003 after years of working in New York City.  While there, Francesca was employed in the fields of taxation and audit at both large and small public accounting firms. She also had the opportunity to work in the world of corporate accounting and audit for publicly traded companies. Francesca earned a B.A. in Public Accounting from Pace University. A first-generation American, Ms. Zappola she brings a unique perspective to our firm.

Lori Derman, CPA

Lori Derman joined the firm in 2010, with 25 years of diverse experience, working for public accounting firms in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Derman actively volunteers, providing accounting and leadership skills to numerous community organizations.

Ryan Bruvik

Ryan joined the firm in 2016 as an intern and returned in 2018 to continue his career in the Princeton area. He is a staff accountant, assisting Howard and Ann with the preparation of our clients’ accounting needs. Mr. Bruvik earned a B.S. in Accounting in 2015 from the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University. When not in the office, Ryan can be found on the golf course with family and friends
